Abstract

In the Netherlands, from 1986- 1991, annually a publicity campaign is held to counteract driving under influence. The target group of the campaigns is the young male driver. The campaign is evaluated by holding a survey amongst the drivers and observing the actual behaviour of drivers and cyclists. In this research the results of the observations are presented. These observations were taken in the autumn of 1986; also a comparison with the data from earlier years is made.
