Abstract

With the increasing burden to the environment caused by human activities, environmental protection concerns have significantly gained in importance in road construction. The overall relationships between infringements in nature and their consequences cannot be successfully identified if only a sectoral and, possibly, purely economic point of view is adopted. The costs of repairing environmental damage are constantly increasing and the problem of pollution is a further burden for future generations.
