Abstract

This study describes the perceived noise hindrance, causedby road traffic from which the flow is disturbed by trafficsignals. Some of the conclusions drawn are , there are nosignificant differences in the perceived noise by respon-dents living witpin or outside 60 metres from thecontrolled junction 2, respondents living witkin 60 metresof the controlled junction are more often disturbed intheir sleep and 3. there is a differente in noise hindranceby transport mode.
