Abstract

In 1973 a list of drugs which could have an adverse effect on driving ability, was published in the netherlands. The list was limited to antihistamines, psychopharmaceutics, sedatives and amphetamines, since these groups of drugs have the highest risk. When these drugs were prescribed, it was mandatory to add a label with the warning that these drugs could influence driving ability. The author presents a new list which is more extensive and more detailed.
