Abstract

This paper describes the analysis of two sets of data assembled during studies of road accidents at the Transport and Road Research Laboratory. One study attempted to relate accident frequency at roundabouts to traffic flow and geometry; the other explored the relationship between self- reported accidents of individual drivers and a range of personal factors.
