Abstract

TRB’s Transportation Research Record: Journal of the Transportation Research Board, No. 2232 consists of 10 papers that explore management of unsealed gravel roads, assessing potential reactivity of aggregates in presence of potassium acetate deicer, curing conditions on the impact of natural aggregate coatings on concrete performance, polishing tendency of coarse aggregates, resilient modulus characterization of Alaska granular base materials, and freeze–thaw related factors on cumulative damage to flexible pavements. This issue of the TRR also examines cyclic suction history (hydraulic hysteresis) on resilient modulus of unsaturated fine-grained soil, simple method to identify marl soils, ultrasonic tomography, and correlation relationship between modulus of subgrade reaction and resilient modulus.
