Abstract
It is stated that there is a disproportion between accident-causes and police surveillance in the city of Groningen. Many police records were made of easy to establish offences, but not of difficult to ascertain offences, like driving to close to another vehicle; overtaking and cutting in on the wrong way. A better police surveillance must be confirmed to the basis of reconstructed accidents and therewith indirect of the daily happening traffic accidents.
