Abstract

Corruption, in its different forms, poses a major obstacle to economic and social development and contributes to undermining an institution for a long period of time. This session is devoted to investigating strategies taken to promote good governance and to fight and prevent corruption. It will be illustrated by examples of actions taken in several countries. Particular attention will be given to the topic of institutional capacity building. For the covering abstract see ITRD E139491.
