Abstract
Negotiating bends asks for proper clearances. In 'woonerf’-situations etc. clearance should not be too generous to keep speeds low. Yet thoroughfare must be guaranteed to vehicles of fire brigades, refuse collectors etc. Driving paths in curves may be composed by computer or. in practice by trial and error. The author describes a drawing-board technique allowing the designer to prepare drawings without extra aids.
