Abstract

A comparison is made of several theoretical methods calculating the delay and capacity at unguarded traffic intersections. Their numerical results are compared with results of observations in practice. Essential errors in the works of Krell and Wörner are pointed out. Some of Tanner's tabulations for calculating the delay are given.
