Abstract

An installation of 5 longitudinal grooved strips combined with a recessed corner-cube reflector has withstood a full winter of exposure to traffic and snowplowing on a four lane highway without significant loss or damage and has continued to provide wet- night visibility up to the present time. It is used as a supplement to conventional beaded paint strips which provide daytime and dry night visibility.
