Abstract
Side-wind tests were made with seven passenger cars operating at a speed of 100 km/hour. The vehicles were passed along the side-wind blower installation of Daimler-Benz. Results indicate danger in vehicle handling when the cars are unloaded or when they are carrying a load on the roof. Deviations in course holding during the tests are given for each vehicle. Finally, hints are given for driving during side-winds.
