Abstract

This report provides tools and guidance to improve asset management. The Transit Asset Prioritization Tool, a spreadsheet that accompanies the report (available at http://onlinepubs.trb.org/onlinepubs/tcrp/tcrp_rpt_172.xlsm), may assist transit agencies in predicting the future conditions of their assets and prioritizing asset rehabilitation and replacement.
