Abstract

Uniformity of practice in respect of design, construction and user aspects of roads and bridges is wanted. This publication is intended to be a guide as it is not practicable to standardize channelized lay outs. The examples given are for typical urban intersections illustrating mainly the geometries of lay out design for varying roadway conditions and traffic capacities.
