Guidelines on road design aesthetics.

Abstract

Guidelines and internationally accepted principles on the aesthetic design of roads are given. It uses photographs and sketches to illustrate the poor aesthetic effects resulting from uncoordinated vertical and horizontal alignment and edge treatment and the remedial measures required.
