Abstract

A 500 meter wire is located in the pedestrian area at Angered Centre in Gothenburg in connection to a bus and train terminal and six blocks with shops and offices. The guided person is equipped with a small receiver and earphone. The receiver measures the strenght of the magnetic field around the wire and transforms it to audible signals. Introduction of an information system with synthetic speech at selected locations is planned.
