Abstract

This book is the first of a new series "Handbooks in Transport" from the publisher Elsevier. Volume 1 on transport modelling contains 40 chapters, each by different experts. The book includes information on demand methods, data issues, environmental valuation, cost and performance, and traffic models. There are chapters on transport models for particular applications such as parking, national traffic forecasting, public transport, urban freight movements, and logistics management.
