Abstract
Traffic conflicts or near misses play a role in traffic safety research during the last years. National as well as international much attention is given to methodological aspects as reliability and validation and to the applications of the method in practice. The manual presented here makes together with a number of videotapes the basis for the Dutch Objective Conflict Technique for Operation and Research (DOCTOR).
