Abstract

The object of this report is to present the results of the Tethered Tests carried out over the past three years, thereby recording advances in the test method and equipment over this period. It also indicates the potential usefulness of the test rig to industry as a method of reducing both time and expenditure in developing the handling characteristics of vehicle prototypes, and improving current models.
