Abstract

The inherent diversity of Transport Telematics (TT), together with the increasing maturity of on-going Research and Development work and the growing interest in deployment are being translated to a heightened interest in the issues of system architecture. The objective of this paper is to present the results of the TT Task Force SATIN in the field of system architecture. An overview of the approach adopted by SATIN to develop TT reference architectures is given with a short description of the design and evaluation methods recommended by SATIN. (A)
