Abstract

293 Urine samples from accidents were analyzed for barbiturates, salicylates and metabolites. Only in 30% of the clearly positive cases did the findings agree with the data provided by the patients. Anamnestic data regarding the consumption are clearly unreliable and thus unsuitable for data collection for tests into a possible relation between the intake of drugs and the occurrence of accidents.
