After the change to right-hand traffic in Sweden in 1967 several experiments with differentiated speed limits have been carried out on the rural road network. The speed limits in the experience have been 130, 110, 90 and 70 km/h. Comparisons are made between the speed limits of 130 and 110 on two-lane roads; to broaden the information base which is available for decisions concerning suitable speed limits in different road and traffic environments as regards the rural road network.
