Abstract

The paper reports on the development of selected prototype systems, which are being investigated and tested by BMW in the framework of PROMETHEUS as part of an overall driver assistance concept. As examples for the ongoing development driver assistance systems for lane keeping and active cruise support will be described. Aspects of the integration of single functions into an overall concept will be discussed. (A)
