Abstract

Reports of investigations into two-wheeler accidents indicate that the head of the rider often impacts another vehicle, a fixed obstacle, and/or the ground. Validations test which were performed in Sweden, with the aim to simulate as realistically as possible oblique head impacts to the ground in two-wheelers accidents, are described.
