Abstract

The presentation mentioned in B 30653 is commented upon. In the United States helmet use has continued to drop and fatality rates continue to rise in states without the legislation. The increased incidence of patients associated with non- use of helmets that sustained head injuries is the more evidence for the mandatory use of crash helmets by motorcyclists in the USA.
