Abstract

New techniques make a more efficient use of the rail network possible. By making more tracks at the stations it is possible to have express trains and stopping trains at the same time on the network. The bottleneck in the capacity is on the big railway stations, so these stations should be reconstructed as flowing stations. The start and end of the train lines will take place at emplacements outside the urban area, and the railway stations are only for entering and stepping out of the passengers.
