Abstract
As illustrated by two cases described in detail, considerable additional pathological changes in the cardiogram and increases in blood-pressure occur in the "sick" drivers in relation to the different traffic situations these changes differ significantly from the values obtained from healthy drivers. For the driver with angina pectoris the operation of a vehicle is an irresponsible stress. This is discussed in connection with the observations myocardial infarctions behind the steering-wheel.
