Abstract
Besides maintaining their original function roadside vegetation should be adjusted to the surrounding landscape and, if possible, should even contribute in aborning this landscape. It is important to limit the work concerned with the upkeep of these vegetation. Some instructions for the upkeep of these vegetation. Some instructions for the upkeep of these vegetation (cutting frequency and time of cutting) are given. The use of herbicides should be limited in as far as possible.
