Abstract

In 1993 the Dutch government introduced a new policy in which the establishment of large-scale concentrated retail trade is allowed in 13 regional level towns. This paper presents a survey into the effects on mobility of this new policy. The survey includes a national and international inventory, the development of a mobility consequences model, and an evaluation.
