Abstract

CONTRAM is a computer program for simulating and evaluating the affects of traffic management measures. In January 1981 the program was introduced in a workshop to a group of future users. The program can especially be applied to the choice of strategic measures for influencing traffic flows in urban areas. Many traffic data are needed for the input. Methods to collect these data are given in this paper.
