Abstract

Matrix algebra and Sampled Data Control Systems. The transfer function of a sampled data system can be given in matrix form, the input ant output pulstrains are then vectors and it is possible to use matrix transform methods to get more insight in the system behaviour. It is shown that the decomposition G = Y f xt is suitable to use many of the concepts associated with the analyses of time invariant systems working with continue signals. The remarkable structure of the X, Y and A matrix is discussed and finally a suggestion is given to use the described transform technique in constructing a control system.
