Abstract

In scientific traffic research human behaviour plays an important role. This behaviour supplies the data for the analysis of the task that must be carried out by the road user. The author discusses the pros and cons of film and video systems as far as shooting and handling are concerned. He concludes to video as being most useful. Recording may be done on fixed locations and from moving vehicles. The author also discusses the point of putting this specialized work out to contract.
