Abstract
Methods of measuring wet road friction are discussed and described. It seems of great interest to control the friction coefficients of roads by periodic routine investigations. Minimum values for friction coefficients are discussed with reference to the correlation between accidents and friction coefficients. Recommendations are given for the construction of non-skid road pavements.
