The research plans executed in 1988 in the project "Judgement of risk and decisions of traffic participants" are presented in this report. In an earlier stage of this project, a system was developed for classifying errors made by student drivers during their practical driving lessons. An analysis of contents of the driving lessons has been made in order to determine how the instruction- process developed. At the same time an analysis has been made of the corrections during the lessons. All lessons contained fixed trajectory. Visual orientation, speed and course were studied on six specific locations of this trajectory. Last- named analysis was also made on the recordings of young male drivers different in age and experience.
