Abstract

One of the measures to improve traffic safety in residential areas was the introduction of the speed limit of 30 km per hour. Besides that there are many constructions possible in the layout of the road, in the construction of road bumps, and in the location of parking places. However, materials used in the speed reducing provisions and the spatial design lead sometimes to difficulties because people do not understand the meaning of the provisions.
