Abstract

With this model the parameters of the simultaneous transport demand model are estimated. The estimation model is derived from Fisher's likelihood estimation model which is based on probability theory. Parameter estimation requires availability of origin-destination (O.D.), trip matrices by mode and O-D impedance matrices by mode. In principle it is possible to treat excess and egress travel impedances as separate explanatory variables.
