Abstract

The authors determine that for an effective medical prevention of road-accidents, it is necessary to introduce the "traffic-doctor": 1. selecting road users on medical indications. 2. advising about traffic-problems in co-operation with technicians and psychologists. A survey is given of the most frequent injuries of car drivers, motorists and moped riders and suggestions are given to prevent them. The possibilities of first aid are given. A survey is given of the measures that have to be taken to save the occupants of a car that has taken the water.
