Abstract
An extensive report on trials of car-sharing and car-pooling in Yorkshire. Three of them were employer-based and one was organised in a residential area. None of the schemes was very successful, but the different ways of approach of the people and the difference in results in any of the four projects give a good impression of what may be achieved and of possible pitfalls. The projects were very well monitored. (Author/publisher)
