Abstract

Previous reports were issued covering the periods 1968-1970(1), 1971-1973(2), and 1974-1976(3). This report applies similar methods to accident data for the period 1977-1979. The results, showing the identified sections, with many more accidents than the expected number, are given in strip map form in an appendix. The statistical method used and its limitations are considered in the report in somewhat more detail. Sections which have been identified as high accident locations in more than one of the three-year time period are also listed.
