Abstract

The presented low beam High Intensity Discharge (HID) headlamp Litronic or Xenon is the most sophisticated headlamp to date. Modular design of the electronic ballast allows for full integration in to the headlamp, the D25 bulb allows for possible replacement even though it has much longer operational life compared to halogen for bulbs. The projector headlamp stands for lighting efficiency and well controlled light projection. Superior light output and light pattern in combination with an automatic levelling device provide for best lighting performance and comply with the stringent requirements in light quality. A very smooth and convenient light distribution raises driving comfort in almost every traffic situation and in combination with the increased illumination in the center, to the sides and in the distance a better visibility guidance will largely improve safety during night-time driving (A)
