Abstract

Two commercial charter passenger intercity bus accidents were investigated. In one accident the busdriver lost control of the bus and it ran off the highway. In the other accident the busdriver lost control of the bus and it overturned. A total of 95 passengers received minor to severe injuries. It was decided to focus on these accidents because of the common busdriver performance issues and because of the large number of buses serving Atlantic City.
