Abstract

Highway safety and college administrators concluded that there is a common care of knowledge essential to highway safety program management, but that this was not clearly defined and that there was no homogeneity in course content between the schools. This syllabus identifies a care of knowledge compatible to the system approach and applicable to most state and local highway safety program offices.
