Abstract

The results are presented of a strategy session of highway safety leaders from government, private industry and academia to analyze the emerging issues and evaluate strategies with the highest payoff in reducing or limiting projected increases in highway fatalities. Discussions identified the range of options available to address the problem, and assigned priorities to the options or action items.
