Abstract

This paper is a summary of a more complex report exploring many aspects of highway safety research communication and decision making. The essence of the findings are presented in eleven statements which are given in order to understand highway safety as a problem-solving system and work to optimize the system, and also to improve the linkage between and among researchers and decision makers.
