Abstract

Transportation Research Record (TRR) 1818 offers findings on road use behavior in Estonia; the typology of motorcycle crashes; truck crashes; the relationship between injury and fatality in aging road users; pedestrian collision prediction; and sidewalk design and accessibility for persons with disabilities. The TRR series is the Journal of the Transportation Research Board; individual TRRs, which are published on an irregular basis throughout the year, consist of collections of peer-reviewed papers on specific transportation subject areas and modes. The papers contained in this volume were among those presented at the 81th Annual Meeting of the Transportation Research Board in January 2002. For abstracts of the individual papers see C 30030 - C 30049.
