Abstract

The general theories and ideas of city traffic movements and road networks, and their application to existing New Zealand cities are reviewed. The acceptance and adaptation of town planners forecasts in development of traffic plans, particularly in view of the effects of assumed intensive redevelopment upon roading needs and costs.
