Abstract
The principles of highway design and current practices in construction, condition monitoring and maintenance, as well as the management systems now in place, are described and discussed in this report. It provides comprehensive coverage of highway practices in the UK and is intended as an informative reference for all involved in any aspect of road pavement construction and maintenance. (A)
