Abstract

How to attract the traveller ? Benefit and urgency of application of product concepts in multimodal transport nodes A important factor in the success of companies as McDonald's and Ikea is the application of product concepts. In all branches exactly the same products are offered, and the look and feel is totally equal. Buyers come in large quantities, but they are obviously not looking for adventure. Lack of acquaintance with the possibilities of multimodal transport nodes is an important reason why the use of these nodes is less than expected. By developing product concepts, the acquaintance can be increased, and the usage as a possible result. Traveller's demand is at the base of the product concepts. By joining the specific demands in combination with marketing and travel information it could become more obvious to use a transport node. (Author/publisher)
