Abstract

This paper describes the use of an alcohol testing system which prevents the ignition being turned on if alcohol is detected in the driver's breath. This programme is being developed in Sweden and has been tested in the public transport sector. Evaluation showed wide acceptance by drivers, employers, operators and passengers.
