Abstract

Object modelling is required for ITS (Intelligent Transport Systems). Patterns of class-relationships were investigated with the intention of creating more efficient systems. Only six types of class-relationships were found in ITS data dictionaries. A method of systematic analysis of class relationships was developed. One of the six types was an abstract/concrete relationship that indicated the significance of multiplicity of related classes. For the covering abstract see ITRD E114174.
